This is the first version of my poster which I came up with, I liked the fonts and the general layout but I didn't think that the background fitted well considering the theme of my film. I decided to try and stick with a similar design but try and change it in such a way that it would be a lot more relatable to the film.
As I said previously, I tried to change the poster in such a way that it would be a lot more relatable to the film. I opted to go with a pink background with a slight vignette, I did this to ensure that there wasn't too much contrast between the verious bits of content, as well as making the poster feel a little "warmer". However the more I looked at it I realised that there wasn't really anything that stood out to me from an audience perspective, I then decided to scrap this whole idea and start from scratch completely in order to end up with something more original.

After realising that the previous posters didn't quite match the theme of the film I realised that I needed something that related completely to something in the fim. I decided that the idea of having a desk with various things scattered around relating to the film would be much more effective and it was, I thought that having the title big and bold in the middle would stand out a lot more and styling it to look appropriate to the film would help to make the entire poster come together, I also thought that by scattering pencils around the poster I would not only be able to relate to the film, but also effectively make use of any empty space there would have been in the poster.
