A boy and a girl are in detention and are writing lines saying "I will not be late" as they have both recently accumulated quite the number of late's recently.
We see the boy text his friend saying that "the girl" is here, he is of course referring to the girl who is also in detention who he quite likes. His friend phones him phones him and decides to feed him pickup lines to help him get closer to the girl, however he is doing this quite sneakily as he is actually listening through his headphones pretending that he is actually listening to music. This may prove to backfire as his friend is generally quite clumsy. As his friend is feeding him the lines a swarm of bees attacks him, causing him to shout a remark that the boy ends up saying to the girl completely out of context leaving an awkward silence in the room.
The boy continues with the clumsiness thinking he now obviously has no chance. The girl however actually thinks that his behaviour is quite cute and falls for him. She blows him a kiss on the way out as the bell rings. The boy is jubilant, he had finally done it, a piece of paper sitting on her table had her number written on it for him. Meanwhile his friend was in quite the tangle as his clumsiness had now got him stuck in a bush.
