Changing the world, one small step at a time - What does this theme mean?

A photo of Neil Armstrong landing on the moon in 1969
This quote can be interpreted in many different ways, one of the first things that came into my mind when I first saw this quote was when man first landed on the moon as Neil Armstrong famously said "This is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind", this is very similar to the quote given, in fact they almost relate to each other as when the moon landings were first made they were in fact changing the world

"ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND" -
The famous quote from Neil Armstrong just over 50 years ago

Many people feel that Justin Biebers recent lifestyle is down to him

being around the wrong people and is setting a bad example
to his younger fans who are a lot more easily influenced
I think that this quote can also relate to many forms of music in which the artists have a large influence over their audience. The fans' of the various artists look up to them almost in such a way as being their role models. In fact some people are even quite critical of musicians as they feel they are sending out the wrong message, however contrary to the minorities opinions, there are actually many artists who try to send out a positive message to their fans, in this case however it is felt that the artists are changing the world in the wrong way.

Another way in which this quote could be interpreted is through the way people have their ambitions in life and plan to be successful in life and help make a difference to others. This could be attributed to someone for example who has aspirations to be a doctor later in their career and help others, and by doing this they are changing other peoples worlds by helping them.
